Rhea, Arjun, and their families instantly fell in love with The Leela Palace Udaipur's timeless charm. At the same time, the serene elegance of Trident Udaipur made it equally compelling as a wedding venue. After careful consideration, it was decided to book both properties for the two-day, lavish celebration. Two events were hosted at the Trident and two at The Leela Palace, allowing guests to experience the beauty, hospitality, and culinary excellence of both iconic hotels.

The palace’s regal grandeur, set against the tranquil beauty of Lake Pichola, created a breathtaking backdrop for the festivities. Every detail of the celebration was carefully curated, blending opulence with warmth to reflect the essence of a grand Indian wedding.

From the moment they arrived, guests were immersed in the charm of Udaipur, welcomed with a scenic boat ride across the lake followed by a traditional Rajasthani greeting with artis, tikka, and thoughtfully curated hampers.

The Leela Palace and Trident, with their unmatched luxury and picturesque settings, provided the perfect canvas for this unforgettable celebration—one filled with joy, elegance, and memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Their story:

Rhea and Arjun's love story is a tale of serendipity, deep connection, and shared values. They first crossed paths while working at the same company in the US, MasterCard, where they unknowingly circled each other's worlds until fate brought them together on a shuttle bus. What started as casual conversations on their commutes soon blossomed into something more, as they found themselves spending hours talking about everything from life goals to favourite books, effortlessly bonding over their shared values and perspectives on family and relationships.

Full of sweet moments, Rhea and Arjun are more than just best friends—they’re soulmates who found their perfect match, and their wedding celebrations beautifully reflected this. The stunning backdrop of Udaipur, combined with thoughtful touches, made each moment magical, leaving guests with cherished memories of a once-in-a-lifetime celebration filled with love and beauty.

Welcome Dinner:

Venue: Marwar Terrace, The Leela Palace Udaipur

Rhea & Arjun’s Welcome Dinner was an intimate evening filled with love, warmth, and cherished moments, shared among close friends and family.

The decor was simple yet timeless, featuring elegant whites and greens, beautifully complemented by delicate florals and glowing candles.

The atmosphere was enriched by a curated jazz playlist that set the perfect mood for the evening. Emotions ran high as the bride’s father, Mr. Rajeev Kakkar, delivered a heartfelt speech, making this gathering even more special. It was the perfect start to a weekend full of celebrations.

The Mehendi – Rhea & Arjun’s Blooming Bash

Venue: Guava Gardens, The Leela Palace Udaipur

Rhea and Arjun’s Mehendi at The Leela Palace was a breezy, sun-soaked celebration bursting with colour, music, and easygoing charm. Set at the scenic Guava Gardens by the lake, the space came alive with vibrant floral installations, quirky lounge seating, and playful details that perfectly set the tone for the festivities ahead.

Brightly striped and floral custom linens dressed the tables, while whimsical elements like hand-painted murals and colourful bottles hanging from trees added a pop of joy to every corner. We creatively used the existing stone wall to build a striking photo booth adorned with the couple’s hashtag #RheadySetGogia—a major hit with the guests.

The couple made a spirited entrance to cheers and waves, with guests dancing and waving handkerchiefs in celebration. Their infectious energy set the vibe for the afternoon, casual, fun, and full of connection.

To keep the atmosphere cool and upbeat, The Wedding Bartenders served refreshing cocktails as DJ AJ kept the crowd grooving with his peppy, feel-good beats. Guests also enjoyed leisurely boat rides between venues, adding an experiential, destination-style touch to the day.

The Mehendi was the perfect icebreaker, a laid-back yet thoughtfully designed celebration where laughter flowed freely, friendships blossomed, and the wedding weekend truly began.

The Sangeet – Rhea & Arjun’s Boho Disco Night

Venue: The Trident, Udaipur

Rhea and Arjun’s Sangeet was the ultimate night of celebration—an all-out party filled with rhythm, revelry, and radiant decor. As the only evening event, this was our chance to go all out, and we did just that with a dazzling Boho Disco theme that merged earthy bohemian textures with retro disco glam.

The design was bold and immersive. Pampas grass, white florals, disco balls, and LED strip lighting formed the foundation of our aesthetic. A rich, moody palette of white, peach, maroon, and muted greens tied everything together with effortless flair.

Guests were welcomed by a dramatic blackboard framed in pampas and blooms, leading to an architectural floral tunnel. This pathway was crafted using rectangular frames with arched cutouts and was lined with pampas, rustic florals, oversized palms, and sparkling disco balls, with warm LEDs tracing each arch. The aisle that followed shimmered with candles in cylindrical vases, scattered petals, and glinting disco balls, creating a magical lead-up to the main space.

At the heart of the venue was the show-stopping stage. A series of layered arches lit with LEDs, dripping in chandeliers and pampas, formed a breathtaking backdrop for the family’s dance performances.

Above, dynamic truss lighting elevated the mood and brought theatrical depth to the visual story.

One of the highlights was the central lounge structure, a custom-built installation designed as a photo-worthy hangout. Arches lined with LED strips framed a ceiling of lush greens and disco balls, while chandeliers added glamour overhead. Despite a major hiccup, undersized arches discovered just the night before—our team worked overnight to resize and install the final version, delivering the dramatic lounge effect we envisioned. Sofas with cozy rugs, printed cushions, and ambient lighting completed the vibe.

The couple’s seating near the stage was equally captivating, styled with pampas, florals, and disco balls under a glowing arch canopy. Cushions in black, white, and red added a touch of drama.

Tablescapes were elegantly styled to reflect the theme. Centerpieces of white blooms in vases paired with mini disco balls sat atop shimmering linens. Round tables featured tall metal stands with floral clusters, while long banquet tables showcased low arrangements. White acrylic chivari chairs and black shimmer overlays on cocktail tables near the bar completed the glam-meets-boho look.

The mirror bar was a standout. Its arched backdrop lit with LEDs framed quirky props—earthen pots, mini lamps, and rustic curios—while the mirrored front and floral accents made it a stylish focal point near the dance floor.

As performances wrapped, DJ AJ took over and turned the space into a high-energy dance zone. Rhea and Arjun’s sisters lit up the stage with lively acts, while the Vyas Brothers added a burst of energy. Guests danced the night away beneath the disco balls and LED glows, completely immersed in the experience.

Despite the last-minute structural challenge, the evening came together seamlessly, exceeding expectations. With glowing reviews from the couple and their guests, this Boho Disco celebration wasn’t just a night of dancing, it was a full-blown spectacle of light, texture, and unforgettable moments.

The Haldi – Rhea & Arjun's Citrus Garden Soirée

Venue: Rose Garden, Trident Udaipur

Rhea and Arjun’s Haldi ceremony was a refreshing twist on tradition, set in the lush Rose Garden of the Trident Udaipur, the celebration unfolded like a citrus-scented dream.

The design direction was simple: make every event feel distinct.

For the Haldi, we embraced a vibrant, citrus-inspired theme using a cheerful palette of yellow, peach, and white. The decor was an artful blend of rustic and refined—lemons, wooden elements, cane baskets, and soft florals came together to create an atmosphere that was breezy, joyful, and totally picture-perfect.

Guests were welcomed by a lemon-studded entrance featuring baskets of florals and a standee that set the tone. Inside, a standout lemon wall with the cheeky phrase “Squeeze the Day” doubled as a quirky photo booth.

The couple’s seating was styled under a fabric canopy with fun cane chairs and a vintage rug. The backdrop, our floral interpretation of a daisy garden featured oversized handcrafted daisies and a mix of yellow blooms and greenery, creating a whimsical stage.

Each table was thoughtfully styled: glass domes filled with whole lemons, glass vases with lemon slices, and three-tiered stands showcasing yellow floral clusters. Cane baskets, wooden crates, and vintage props like radios and gramophones added layers of texture and charm.

One of the venue’s dry trees was cleverly transformed into a stunning installation with cascading greenery and lemons, turning an eyesore into a photo-op favorite.

Custom touches brought the couple’s personality into every corner. We styled thematic carts as signature bars: a Mimosa Bar, a G&T Station, and a Bloody Mary Cart, each a hit with guests. Lounge-style seating near the dance floor included sofas with lemon-themed printed cushions, while rectangular tables and cocktail setups filled the buffet area.

To complete the mood, trees were draped with florals in cane baskets, macramé umbrellas offered cozy shaded corners, and a floral bicycle added a playful, Insta-worthy spot.

Entertainment was just as thoughtful—DJ AJ and a saxophonist filled the air with upbeat tunes, while the Haldi ceremony unfolded with a flurry of flower petals and a live percussionist. One of the highlights was the interactive Polaroid Game, where guests picked cards prompting them to complete quirky challenges: dance-offs, lemon-basket selfies, DJ booth poses, and more—sparking laughter across all age groups.

Small yet significant details, like custom-printed coasters that doubled as keepsakes, made the event feel personal and layered. Every element, from the styling to the music and menus, echoed the refreshing, joyful vibe we set out to create. We added subtle, immersive touches that kept guests engaged without stealing the spotlight. Their entry—dhol beats and a dreamy flower shower was the showstopper, leaving everyone awestruck.

A burst of sunshine, a touch of whimsy, and a whole lot of love—Rhea & Arjun’s Haldi was a citrusy celebration to remember.

The Wedding – Rhea & Arjun’s Regal Affair

Venue: The Leela Palace, Udaipur

Set against the shimmering waters of Lake Pichola, Rhea and Arjun’s wedding at The Leela Palace was a masterclass in grandeur and grace. The majestic Outer Courtyard became the heart of this celebration, transformed into a royal stage for the union of two souls.

Guests arrived in style. Arjun’s baraat was a standout moment. Riding in a vintage car adorned with blooms and a lit-up “Arjun Di Baraat” sign, he made a spirited entry to the beats of DJ AJ. The groom’s side arrived early via boat for Safa Bandi, while the bride’s side followed later, with every logistical detail—jetty transfers, buggies all seamlessly managed. When the Milni was slightly delayed, AJ kept the baraatis grooving, ensuring the energy never dipped.

The welcome experience was just as impactful. A floral-ladi-covered ceiling greeted guests at the Leela’s grand entrance, while a serene waterbody with spiral candelabras led to a gold-framed mirror adorned in florals, flanked by majestic silver elephant props, a picture-perfect first impression.

The ceremony unfolded at the scenic Rangmanch, surrounded by a waterbody strewn with pink petals and floating candles.

The mandap, a romantic vision in red and pink blooms, was adorned with brass temple tops, crystal-hung ladis, and glowing brass lamps. Floral-draped trees and chandeliers framed the background, while Rajnigandha-filled urlis and elephant props lined the aisle for a soft, immersive vibe.

Rhea made a divine entrance to the soulful Laxmi Stotram, with Arjun joining her under the mandap to Shagna Di Shaam. Their varmala took place under a canopy of florals overlooking the lake, sealed with pyros lighting up the moment. The Sheesh Mahal alcove provided a stunning backdrop for their vows, set to the sacred sounds of the Ganesh Stotram.

Every seating detail was thoughtful: theatre-style chivari chairs and takhats, lounge sofas under canopies, and a brass bell placed on each seat with explanations of rituals to welcome their global guest list into the ceremony. Centerpieces of red roses, Rajnigandhas, and vintage props added richness and depth to the décor. As the sun dipped, dinner began—served at long tables dressed with candle-lit metal frames and florals, alongside round tables under soft lighting. A live band filled the air with classical Indian music, later transitioning into a soulful Sufi vocalist during dinner. The bar opened post-rituals, rounding off the evening with celebration and cheer.

The finale? A sparkler exit with friends lighting the way as Rhea and Arjun walked into their new journey—cinematic, heartfelt, and truly unforgettable. Every moment of this fairy-tale wedding lived up to its dreamy promise.

The After Party:

The theme for the after-party revolved around the couple. Rhea and Arjun first crossed paths while working at the same company in the US, where they unknowingly circled each other’s worlds until fate brought them together on a shuttle bus. What started as casual conversations on their commutes soon blossomed into something more, as they found themselves spending hours talking about everything from life goals to favorite books, effortlessly bonding over their shared values and perspectives on family and relationships. Our theme for this party was to celebrate them, hence it was based on New York City.

There was a pathway leading up to the hall where the party was set up. This pathway was covered with LED screens. The visuals displayed the New York City subway, making it look like you were there.

In the hall, we played a lot with the lights. We had a graffiti wall, filled with all references of New York with a Neon sign to complete this. We had an LED screen behind the DJ console. The console itself was made to look like the yellow cabs in NYC. We had a bar set up on the balcony as well, for anyone who wanted some quiet. In the hall next to this, we had sofas in lounge-style seating. We also had a telephone set up that could record audio messages for the couple. Next to it, we placed a scrapbook for everyone to write their wishes for the happy couple. This was a big hit with the guests.

However, the telephone wasn’t working before the party started. Our team quickly tried to figure it out and ran to the couple. The couple recorded an introduction for their guests to hear every time they recorded themselves. Our surprise for the guests as well as the clients was the same-day edit of their wedding video. All the 2-day festivities shown in the video as a recap with the nostalgia already hitting everyone. This was a great touch that everyone appreciated.

We had the food set up for late-night snacks. The party ended around 4 pm One of the guests went to the room where the after-party was taking place. He got all of the friends back to the dance floor and DJ AJ went on till 6 am. The after-party was the perfect ode to the couple and a perfect end to a fairytale wedding. All the guests enjoyed the music and dancing as well as taking a break on the loungers set up for them in the quiet.
