Nestled in the tranquil beauty of Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa, Pratiksha and Shubham’s wedding unfolded as a dreamy blend of nature, culture, and timeless elegance.

When we went for a recce to the beautiful Le Meridien in Mahabaleshwar, we were awestruck with the beautiful serenity and tranquility the place held. We instantly knew we wanted to use these surroundings as our base and design the space. The couple also wanted the wedding space to transition into the reception dinner later that day.

We chose to harmonize the beautiful lawn adorned with huge trees with elements that would enhance the charm that came with it. The wedding embraces the rich culture and traditions of Maharashtra. Hence, every detail of the decor was meticulously curated to showcase the heritage while creating an ethereal and heavenly atmosphere. We took inspiration from the fresh December morning with a color scheme of white and gold, staying true to traditional aesthetics. This choice aimed to capture the gentle warmth of the sun-kissed morning, enhancing the overall beauty of the decor.

As our bride, Prastiksha, made her grand entrance, she descended the staircase embellished with large rajnigandha or tuberose arrangements. To make the entrance more celestial, we added dry ice to create a mystical fog effect as she walked through an authentic wada, a traditional Maharashtrian door. This enhanced the grandeur of her arrival.

Following the entrance, a breathtaking floral aisle awaited Pratiksha. Lined with flowers on both sides, the aisle perfectly complemented the bride's stunning paithani saree. At the beginning of the aisle, a majestic tree stood adorned with Indian chandeliers and flowers delicately wrapped around its trunk, adding a natural and organic charm.

The main mandap was designed without external structures, utilizing trees for support. A rope was added between the two trees, and Indian shewanti ladis, pink carnations, rose ends, and bells were hung, evoking a temple-like ambiance. The wooden platform for the mandap seamlessly blended with the venue's aesthetics.

The musicians were strategically placed to ensure their mesmerizing melodies filled the spaces, harmonizing the entire ceremony, and delighting all the guests. The saptapadi setting, a ritual during the pheras, was meticulously crafted using fresh flower petals and lotus motifs, symbolizing a beautiful union for the couple.

To maintain the fresh garden look, we thoughtfully placed brass props, and rajnigandha/tuberose arrangements throughout the venue. Pastel florals and silver parrots adorned the centerpieces, perfectly complementing the overall decor.

To further enhance the Maharashtrian ambiance, we finalized a pangat-style dining experience reception. The wedding truly embodied the essence of Maharashtrian culture, tranquility, and heavenly decor, transforming the space into a serene and harmonious haven.

The results were truly captivating. On that morning, the entire venue exuded a mystical and heavenly charm. Dry ice was added to amplify the wintry atmosphere. Our clients and guests were overjoyed with the transformation from what they had seen on the day of the recce and for two days before the actual wedding. The ceremony seamlessly transitioned into the evening reception, and the moments were beautifully captured in stunning photographs and videos. In fact, one of our reels showcasing the breathtaking mandap has become a viral sensation, admired by all who come across it.
